Campania: 288 public services online, 91% of users satisfied.
At the Digital Summit, the results of the regional digital transformation were presented. 160 million euros were invested in digital healthcare.
The news

At the fifth edition of the Campania Digital Summit, held at the Maritime Station in Naples, the Region presented the results of its digital transformation journey. The Digital Services Catalog now includes 288 services active 24/7 and has handled over 540,000 online applications.

Particular attention was paid to perceived quality: out of 57,000 questionnaires collected, 91% of users declared themselves generally satisfied. Among the areas of intervention presented are digital health, cybersecurity, and skills development, with significant investments coming from the PNRR.

The context

The digital transformation of public administration is a process that began at the national and regional levels several years ago, with the goal of simplifying citizens' access to services and making procedures more efficient. Campania has promoted this journey through initiatives such as the Campania Digital Summit, an annual event dedicated to innovation, now in its fifth edition and organized in collaboration with The Innovation Group, the Region itself, and So.Re.Sa.

The work has focused on multiple fronts: creating a centralized digital catalog, digitizing administrative processes, and targeted investments, especially in the healthcare sector. Funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) provided a decisive boost, allowing for the allocation of substantial resources, such as the 160 million euros for digital healthcare. The milestone of 288 online services and the high user satisfaction rate represent a significant achievement in this multi-year journey, which now aims at new goals such as cybersecurity and smart transportation.
