Carrie (Season 1)

The first season of *Carrie*, arriving on Prime Video on October 7, 2026, represents the first serial adaptation of Stephen King's iconic debut novel, entrusted to visionary showrunner Mike Flanagan. This contemporary reimagining, an Amazon MGM Studios production, follows the outcast teenager Carrie White (Summer Howell) as she navigates bullying, social media pressure, and the awakening of her telekinetic powers, expanding the book's narrative universe across eight episodes. Flanagan, who also directs four episodes, is joined by a team of directors including Kate Siegel and Kyra Sedgwick, promising a deep psychological exploration of the characters that culminates in the inevitable, tragic night in Chamberlain.
