The Traitors: New Blood

The Traitors: New Blood marks a new chapter for the celebrated reality format, brought to primetime on NBC with a significant shift in tone, as explained by executive producers Sam Rees-Jones and Rosie Franks. Unlike previous celebrity editions, this "civilian" version features a cast composed entirely of ordinary people, selected from 80,000 applicants, promising a more familiar and generational atmosphere. Host Alan Cumming, fresh off an Emmy win, chose the first two traitors—pilot Tomica Adams and funeral director Joe Vanella—while the third was selected through a twist that saw two faithful contestants compete for the role.

The producers anticipate a season full of surprises and unexpected decisions from the competitors, while maintaining the fundamental elements of the game that have driven the format's global success.
