A first-person, standalone horror where Simon Ordell returns to the fog-shrouded Scottish island of St. Amelia in 1996, using a portable CRT television to solve puzzles and survive while uncovering fragments of a buried personal truth.
Silent Hill: Townfall, arriving September 24, 2026 for PS5 and PC, presents itself as a bold first-person spin-off aiming to refresh the historic horror series. Developed by the Scottish studio Screen Burn and co-published by Konami and Annapurna Interactive, the game transports players to the desolate Scottish town of St. Amelia in 1996, following the footsteps of protagonist Simon Ordell.
The experience focuses on an oppressive psychological atmosphere and methodical exploration, introducing a distinctive gameplay element in the portable CRTV, an analog device used to solve puzzles and identify threats. Balancing a stealth approach with risky combat, and an estimated length of 10 to 14 hours with multiple endings, Townfall appears intent on capturing the cerebral and unsettling essence of the series while offering a fresh and intimate perspective.
