Street Fighter: The movie trailer is playable on YouTube
The new live-action Street Fighter film debuts with an interactive, playable trailer on YouTube, a first in the world of cinema.

Marketing for the new live-action Street Fighter film kicks off with a technological twist. Paramount Pictures and Legendary Entertainment launched the World Warrior Tour in Tokyo, showcasing not only the traditional trailer on Shinjuku's massive screens but also the first-ever playable movie trailer on YouTube.

Dubbed the "STREET FIGHTER Combo Challenge," this innovative trailer allows viewers to interact with the video as they watch, turning passive viewing into a skill-based challenge. The launch event brought together the cast, including Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, and Jason Momoa, alongside director Kitao Sakurai and video game director Takayuki Nakayama.

Set in 1993, the film follows fighters Ryu and Ken Masters, recruited by Chun-Li for the World Warrior Tournament, a competition that hides a dangerous conspiracy. The trailer promises a faithful adaptation, packed with iconic moves like Hadoukens and a vast roster of characters including Akuma, M. Bison, Guile, and Zangief.

Street Fighter, with the direct involvement of Capcom, will hit theaters on October 16, 2026, aiming to bring the energy and style of the celebrated video games to the big screen.
