ShoPro Entertainment announced on Wednesday that Julietta Suzuki's manga "Otaku Vampire's Love Bite" (Oshi ni Amagami), the creator of "Kamisama Kiss," will receive a television anime adaptation. The announcement was accompanied by a promotional teaser video and a key visual.
The choice of the date November 4th (11/04) is not accidental: in Japanese, it can be read as "ii oshi," meaning "good favorite" or "favorite," a perfect pun for the title of the work. The manga is described as a "bloody romantic comedy."
The announcement comes during a period rich with news from the world of Japanese animation, but this adaptation stands out due to the pedigree of the author, already famous for the success of "Kamisama Kiss." Details regarding the release date, cast, and production staff have not yet been revealed.
