Game Freak, the studio universally associated with the Pokémon franchise, has made an unexpected turn with the launch of 'Beast of Reincarnation'. The game abandons cute creatures for a dark, post-apocalyptic Japan, set in the year 4026, representing the studio's most unusual project to date.
It is also Game Freak's first title to debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game offers over 30 hours of gameplay for the main story, focusing on world and character development like Emma and Kuu, whose story unfolds through well-crafted cutscenes.
The soundtrack is noted as one of its strengths, capable of creating atmosphere with inspiration sometimes compared to 'Stellar Blade'. Beast of Reincarnation combines a tactical combat system, a meticulously crafted world, and a story that favors mystery, positioning itself as an experience for those who appreciate action and a dose of melancholy.
The game is voiced in English and Japanese, with subtitles in other languages, and is available for purchase on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 for approximately 55 euros or 60 dollars for the standard edition.
