PlayStation Plus: Mycopunk arrives day-one and Horizon Forbidden West returns
The October PlayStation Plus catalog expands with nine games, including the direct launch of the co-op looter shooter Mycopunk and the return of Horizon Forbidden West.

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus catalog update for October 2026. The most significant addition is Mycopunk, the co-op looter shooter developed by Pigeons at Play, which will debut directly on the service in its 1.0 version starting October 20. This is a rare event for a day-one title on PS Plus.

Among the major games arriving on October 20 are also Mafia: The Old Country and the return of Horizon Forbidden West, which was removed from the catalog in 2024. For Premium subscribers, the catalog expands with the classics Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition.

In addition to full games, Game Trials are also planned for Premium members, including the one for Mortal Shell II available from October 20. The month also offers extra content such as the Halloween skin pack for World War Z and the Tunnels of Terror expansion for Back 4 Blood, free from October 21 to November 4.

The update is rounded out by other titles like The Midnight Walk, already available, and Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition, and Monster Energy Supercross 25, arriving on October 27.
