The manga "Bocchi the Rock!" will receive a film adaptation in 2027. The movie will adapt a special story focusing on Seika, Nijika's older sister.
Bocchi the Rock! fans have a new reason to celebrate. A teaser trailer has announced that an anime film based on Aki Hamaji's manga will arrive in 2027.
The film, titled 'Eiga Bocchi the Rock! Hoshi no Ashiato' (Bocchi the Rock! the Movie: Footprints of the Stars), will adapt 'Hoshi ni Tamukeru Ai no Hana'. This is a special story found at the end of the fifth volume of the manga.
The plot will focus on Seika Ichiji, the older sister of Nijika, a key character in the series. The announcement, made in November 2026, promises to expand the universe of the popular series about the adventures of the shy guitarist Hitori 'Bocchi' Gotō and her band.
