The bestseller lists in Canada have been updated, bringing a new entry to the top. Sarah J. Maas's 'A Court of Splintered Harmony' has landed directly in first place on the prestigious Hardcover Fiction list.
Published by Bloomsbury Publishing, the book has a cover price of $42 and is in its first week on the chart. Debuting at number one is a notable achievement, considering the fierce competition.
In the same week, in fact, other established authors released new titles. Michael Connelly with 'The Hollow' and the anthology 'Other Worlds Than These' featuring Stephen King and Peter Straub have entered the chart, at fourth and ninth place respectively.
The bestseller list, compiled by The Globe and Mail using data from BookNet Canada, thus shows a varied landscape, but with a clear winner in the fantasy fiction of the much-loved author.
