Crunchyroll Announces Sekiro: No Defeat and Ghost of Tsushima Anime
At NYCC 2026, Crunchyroll unveiled exclusive previews of upcoming anime, including Sekiro: No Defeat and Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

Crunchyroll made a slew of announcements at New York Comic Con 2026 with its showcase panel. The event featured world premiere trailers for several highly anticipated anime series, including two adaptations from celebrated video games.

Among the most significant news is *Sekiro: No Defeat*, based on FromSoftware's video game *Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice*. The adaptation, produced by Kadokawa, will be an eight-episode series with entirely hand-drawn animation, arriving on Crunchyroll in January.

Another major announcement is for *Ghost of Tsushima: Legends*, inspired by the PlayStation game's multiplayer mode of the same name. The anime, produced by HAYATE in collaboration with PlayStation Productions, is slated for 2028. The panel revealed part of the staff, including character designer Takashi Okazaki, an Emmy winner in 2026.

Beyond video game adaptations, Crunchyroll announced a partnership with WEBTOON to develop 15 anime adaptations and presented previews for other series like *Kagurabachi*, *EAT-MAN*, and *The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All*.
