T. Exiles" sees Shemar Moore return as Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson in a sequel spin-off created by Jason Nig for Sony Pictures Television. Set two years after the conclusion of the original series, it follows a bitter and estranged Hondo who reluctantly agrees to lead a new experimental unit, the 44 Squad, composed of unpredictable young recruits like influencer Sammy Bishop (Lucy Barrett) and tactical genius Ethan Cole (Freddy Miyares).
The series maintains the solid procedural formula of the original, exploring the generational gap and a hint of internal conspiracy, without reinventing the genre but offering a welcome return for Moore, already renewed for a second season.
